When most kids are finished with their homework, they could volunteer their extra time for an organization such the American Red Cross Junior or a local soup kitchen, shelter, church or library, or be a tutor at their school.
We asked 112 fifth-graders in our school which book they would like turned into a movie. We came up with two very popular books and two popular book series. We did this because we wanted to see which of the four they would like the most. Here are our results:

That is a church that offers a fun camp, called Mega Sports Camp, for one week where you can choose from basketball, flag football, baseball, soccer or cheerleading. You don't need to be a church member to attend the camp, but this is a faith-based camp.

This organization is called Birthday Wishes, in Hicksville. Birthday Wishes gives birthday parties to kids in local homeless shelters.
